Each year, CMHA Vernon helps sponsor an Art Show and Sale celebrating the creative achievements of people living with a mental illness. In the past, works on exhibit have represented a wide range of art forms, including painting, sculpture, photography, fibre and poetry. The artist statements not only provide insight into the works but also into the important role of art in their experience of mental illness.
